Since you want a new line, the easiest way would be to remove it:
$content = $content -replace [LF]
But that would also remove all lines.
$content -replace ‘[LF]’
would output a single line (LF) in the following format:

You can use [LF]\r
if you want a LF without a carriage return. Note that escape sequences, ^L, ^M and ^B are not allowed in Powershell and should be replaced with proper character codes.
[LF]\r
will remove all the lines that end with a LF.
