The Shuttle-Echo VST plugin was developed to be a delay device that focuses on inperfections in the repeats. Especially good for slap-back stuff & wild echo madness (the delay-time can be modulated).
Controls:
The MONO-mode does NOT distort the original stereo-image. Each channel has it’s own delay-chain, in mono-mode they both use the same settings.
TIME: delay time
FEEDBACK: amount of repeats
250 ms/750 ms: maximum delay time
-TIME MOD-
This feature modulates the delay time. The slider activates the effect & sets how much the delay time is affected.
SINE/S&H: Selects between a sinewave or sample & hold LFO. (sample & hold changes to a random delaytime value at the rate of the speed control)
-FLUTTER-
Pitch modulation effect (applied to the repeats only). The slider activates the effect & sets the mix.
SINE/S&H: Selects between a sinewave or sample & hold waveform. (sample & hold creates random pitch changes at the rate of the speed control)

The slider activates & controls the mix of the filter.
FREQ: Cutoff frequency
RES: Resonance
HIGHPASS/LOWPASS: Filter-mode
-DRIVE-
Overdrive (applied to the repeats only). The slider activates & controls the dry/wet mix.
DRIVE: amount of drive (waveshape)
TRHESH: Threshold. This sets the level where the waveshaping occurs (increases volume with high drive settings).
PRE FILTER/POST FILTER: puts the drive-section before or after the filter.
MIX: Dry/wet mix

You can use 3 switchable modes. The first mode is the’standard’ ‘Slapback’ mode. This mode is the most ‘interesting’ & best for slapback/wall-of-sound stuff. This is a mono-delay with one delay-chained per channel.
The second mode is the ‘MOON’ mode. This is a mono-delay with both chais used to delay each channel together. Both delays have their own LFO-rate & the two delays can be modulated in the same way.
The third mode is the ‘MONO’ mode. This is a mono-delay with one delay-chain per channel.
All of the above modes can be modulated by the MONO-modulation.
The monomachine has 4 ‘general’ switches.
‘TIMESTEP’:
The size of the time-step. This is the delay-time that is modulated.
‘SHIFT’:
The length of the waveform. This controls the amount of effect.
‘S’H’:
This selects between sinewave or sample & hold.
‘F’REQ’:
This controls the filter-frequency.
‘T’HRES’:
This controls the filter-threshold.
‘H’IGHPASS/’L’OWPASS’:
Selects the filter-mode.
‘R’ES’:
This controls the filter-resonance.
‘D’RIVE’:
This controls the filter-drive.
‘P’RE’:
This controls the pre- & post-filter.
‘M’IX’:
This controls the mix of dry/wet.
‘A’BAND’:
This controls the amount of bandpass/lowpass (applies to all the above modes).
‘B’ACK’:
This activates the’synth-back’ switch. This works only with the’slapback’ mode.
If the’synth-back’ switch is set, the’slapback’ is muted. If the’slapback’ switch is off, the’slapback’ is on.
‘S’HOUT’:
This is used for timing. This is the ‘time-step’ in the ‘MOON’ mode.
‘S’LUT1:
This is used for controlling the ‘threshold’.

There are two selection choices for the filter-modulation effect:
-OVERDUB: The overdrive effect only will be added to the overdriven effect of the dry loop.
-OVERDUB+MIX: The overdrive effect & the dry/wet mix will be added to the overdriven effect.
SELF-TRACKING: “This feature allows you to use the pre-delay effects on the dry & wet loop. This means that you can use the echo-delays before the overdrive-effects. This makes your pre-delay effects useable in any mix-mode” (source: www.t.skynet.be)

An Echo Simulation Mixer is a Multi-effect (plugin) that can imitate the infamous echo effect by combining two or more effects.
There are many ways to do the ‘Echo’ effect. A very simple one is to use a noise-layer on the signal & a delay-stack on the same signal. By slowly fading in the noise-layer (or the same signal) the amplitude of the main signal will be modulated by the delays.
The ‘echo’ effect in the usual mixer just creates one stereo-echo-channel & fades it in & out with a delay-time. (Or it is fading in the input-signal and fading out with the output-signal)
The Shout-Echo is a digital stereo-echo device that puts the delays at the input of the echo-effects. This is the best way to emulate the real echo-device.
This echo-device has a wide range of modulation possibilities that can be modulated by the normal-mixer.
There are two delay-time-sliders:
– A delay time-slider for the dry loop (overdrive).
– A delay time-slider for the wet loop (underdrive).
The echo-delay-pitch modulation feature modulates the delay-time of the echo-effects.
