In order to create a new package that allows developers to easily create JNA bindings for C, Objective-C and C++, JNAerator is available as an Eclipse plugin.
Users can specify the name of the new package in the JNAerator configuration panel. When JNAerator detects the name of the package, it will automatically generate the required types, bindings and helper classes as well as a simple example of the generated package.
If the package name is “com.company.package” and it is currently active, JNAerator will automatically perform the following:
Register the package name com.company.package under the Java SE name space
Generate the following class: com.company.package.Runner.
Generate this helper class: com.company.package.Helper.
Generate this interface: com.company.package.Generator.Javainterface.
Register the generated package
Add the generated helper class to the source path
Add the generated interface to the source path
Please note that JNAerator will add all imported header files to the generated code. If header files are available in multiple namespaces, JNAerator will choose the first one found.
Package Search
To search the package name(s), enter a package name (e.g. “jna”) or use the Browse… button to select the package from the workspace.
Available Packages
JNAerator supports the following packages. If the package is not supported by JNAerator, one can use JNAerator to generate a package that provides the functionality of the missing package.
