I’m trying to get the text-shadow for an element, then make the element’s color transparent.
I’m trying to achieve this with an ng-class. I know I can do this, but when the text-shadow changes, it will not re-render the element.
So is there a way to do this without re-rendering?
Here’s my code:

text-shadow: 1px 1px 2px #CCC;
}

I want the textShadow of the text and the color to all be transparent…not just the text. Thanks.

text-shadow is a CSS3 property, so it won’t help you here. You could do something like this instead. Note that this is not fully cross browser compatible.
.textShadow {
color: transparent;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 2px #CCC;
}

If you want to be cross browser, this is the CSS that I would do:
