My dvr-345 has problems getting the first 3 seconds of a program. I’ve been trying to debug this issue for a while now, trying to figure out what’s going on. When I watched it via the USB connection, I got what looked like a low quality recording of itself. Now, I’m watching the program on DVD (it is not the way it is packaged on the computer, I have unpacked this and burned it). My dvr-345 shows all of the recorded programs until the first 3 seconds, then the program freezes up, but no error messages are displayed. I’m using the highest output, no underclocking, no matter what, and it’s not the first DVD I’ve burned on it. (I’ve burned several dozen) Anyone else have the same issue?

Like your article, but my dv4110 will not load the USB thumb drive to my PC, it will automatically search for the Winamp serial number to authenticate to the USB drive. But it will not find the serial number.
