Today, we will use the LastPass authentication plugin to log into our LastPass account and perform a number of tasks.

Preparations:

LastPass uses a user domain to connect to its service. Depending on your configuration, the service may reside either on your computer or on a centralized server. In both cases, users need to register an account with a username and a password.

This article assumes that you are logged into a LastPass account using your computer. If you are already logged in using your LastPass account, skip to the next section.

If you are not logged into a LastPass account, follow the instructions in the 2. Installation section.

1. Adding new accounts

From the main menu, select Add New Account and follow the instructions.
