Wizzlix is open source software that provides workflow-based debugging support to managed testing environments in Microsoft Visual Studio. It enables testing team members to automate and report on workflows used in their test cases and test plans. Wizzlix is built on top of Scenario Builder, which is Microsoft’s UI-less testing tool. Scenario Builder is a simple tool that allows testers to build reports from test plans using a series of clickable UI elements to execute test cases.
Wizzlix works with Microsoft Visual Studio, as well as XUnit, JUnit, and other common testing frameworks. It can send test results to test management systems such as Mantis and Trac.
Using Wizzlix, testers can link test cases with actions, which can be performed by test cases, such as “run a test case”, “run all test cases that are included in this action”, or “pause this action”. Each action can have its own set of parameters. Testers can also run tests that are triggered by rules and use a variety of rules to automate their test cases.
