Fruit Ninja 2 is an addictive fruit slicing game that gets better and better with time. As you slice away from fruit, the object being sliced is lifted higher until it hits a platform. If your fruit hits the platform, the platform crumbles to dust. An extra bonus is when you hit one of the different types of fruit, fruit bombs fly out of the fruit. Occasionally, the fruit itself can also explode, causing additional fruit bombs, as well as causing a new fruit to be created (There is at least a one-fruit-bomb-per-fruit type deal going on.)
Fruit Ninja has a plethora of items to slice away fruit with, each of which having its own unique play style, such as “Whip”, “Glove”, “Sponge”, “Axe”, “Brute Force”, “Bucket” and “Hammer” (If you don’t know what these things do, you’ll just have to guess, being a hidden object game)
There’s also various fruit levels to slice away. These are divided into easy, medium, and hard levels. For those of you who have played the original Fruit Ninja, the game starts off easy, but usually gets harder as you complete certain levels.
This game also has achievements/trophies/etc. like the original, which also adds replay value.
This game is definitely a hit. It’s an impressive step up from the previous fruit ninja. The new features are very enjoyable, and I enjoyed playing it even more since I played the first one, even though I only got as far as level 21.
I would certainly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the original fruit
