Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 is a free download that can be used for Windows computers. It works with Photoshop CS6, CS5 and previous versions of Photoshop as well as Photoshop Elements 7 and 8.
You’ll be asked to create an Adobe ID when you first use the software, which is used to access cloud services such as Adobe Photoshop Elements Store, Share Photos, and Adobe Creative Cloud. This is similar to the Google sign-in feature on the Chrome web browser, but with a different purpose.
If you’re a current Adobe Photoshop Elements user, you can download the latest version through the Download Center. To access the Download Center, go to the top menu, click on File, and then click on Download Center. To access the Download Center from a computer that doesn’t have Photoshop Elements installed, click on the Adobe icon at the top left of the screen, then click on the Download Center icon in the top menu.
Adobe Photoshop Elements will prompt you if it needs more memory, just like Photoshop, and you need to allow it to use as much as available memory. Photoshop Elements will keep storing images.

The Help files are in Adobe Help format, which is readable by Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. This helps teach you how to use the software, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you’re new to Adobe Photoshop Elements.

* **Live Paint Bucket** : You can use the Live Paint Bucket to paint over any area of an image, or directly on an image in your Layers panel. This tool is pretty handy for quickly adding text or even Photoshop effects to your photos.
