PHP files change name and extension after uploading to FTP
I am writing an HTML/PHP form that has a zip file which contains an SQL database and some php files and I’m trying to upload it to a server.
I use the “input type=file” to upload the files and I have another script which changes its name and extension, so I can’t do something like:
$filename = $_FILES[‘ImageUpload’][‘name’];
$filename = $_POST[‘name’];
So I need some other way to get the name of the uploaded file.

Use $_FILES[‘ImageUpload’][‘tmp_name’];
After you process the image in your php script you can set the destination path to wherever you want and then
Move_uploaded_file($_FILES[‘ImageUpload’][‘tmp_name’], $destinationPath);
