What is Photoshop Elements?

Photoshop Elements is a graphic editor from Adobe. It’s designed for people with little to no Photoshop experience. It’s very beginner friendly and most people find it easy to use. It doesn’t require any advanced knowledge of computer graphics, instead it’s pretty much like its big brother Photoshop.

However, it contains fewer features and is designed for pro photographers, graphic designers or people who just enjoy editing images for personal use. If you’re a hobbyist, it’s for you.

You can control settings, manage image assets, edit images for fun or make adjustments such as color or contrast.

With the same basic principles as the traditional Photoshop, you can apply the effects and filters, you can use the edit menus, you can correct white balance, exposure, saturation, color balance, saturation or intensity, contrast, brightness, sharpness, spot healing, Liquify and Warp tools.

However, Photoshop Elements has less features than it’s previous version (Photoshop CS5/CS6, Photoshop Lightroom or Photoshop CC). Its current version is Photoshop Elements 12 and it’s really cool, it has some cool user interface changes.

If you’re familiar with the previous version of Photoshop you will find it incredibly easy to learn Photoshop Elements and to use it.

Use Photoshop Elements as an alternative to Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 can be used to edit images for all types of pictures and designers. It contains edit features which are not in the previous versions of Photoshop, and it can also be used to improve a user’s work in the following areas:

Color correction in all areas and conditions.

Manage assets and work with compressed files, archive or you simply want to get more out of your images.

Work with RAW or digital cameras files, regardless of the operating system.

Create art, web content, GIFs and icons.

How to access an element of a 2D array that has values, array access error

I have an array of the form
array[ArrayLength][ArrayLength] (i.e. [[L for L in range(ArrayLength)]])

If I try to get an element with e.g.
sum_dict[u] = self.array[u]
print(sum_dict[u])

I get an array access error because u will have the value 0, 1, 2 and so on, so the index of the 2nd dimension is mismatching.
Is there a way to overcome this? I don’t want to have to specify the index manually and I don’t know how many iterations are needed.
