I’m writing a Java program using Apache Cassandra 3.10 as a database. I’m using Maven and I’m also including some libraries from Maven central.
My problem is that when I run the program from within Eclipse with a built jar from the Maven project, it fails to start Cassandra, saying it can’t find the libraries. I included the jars in the classpath by double-clicking on the main class of my project, so I’m thinking the problem is that the jar the program uses to run Cassandra starts before I include the libraries.
Is there a way to start the program and the libraries at the same time?

On Mac you are not supposed to run jar files (at least not with a terminal), they are supposed to be executed.
So if you want to start the jars at the same time, you should try executing them using the command line.

So I have a Rss reader which is receiving a xml feed from an Rss website. The reader loads the information into a datagridview as the items are displayed, however I need to be able to get the attribute which is a string value from the xml and check if the attribute value is equal to a word.
The data coming back from the rss feed is not a text attribute. The text is inside the xml file, the text is, The type of the values in the node.

So it’s apt that the Kansas City Royals experienced some weary days when it came to finishing games in the postseason.
The Royals turned in a tight, five-run, ninth-inning rally in Game 4 of the AL Championship Series to back their way to the World Series on Thursday, but that win in the series finale was not smooth.
There were long stretches of the Royals’ postseason run when the club’s inability to secure a win sparked frustration among players and fans alike. They also experienced the impact that the postseason can have on a player’s body, as well as a manager’s in.
As this edition of The Post-Dispatch Royals Podcast shows, that frustration came to a head late in the regular season, when some players in the clubhouse realized the Royals could play hard yet still not emerge with a victory.
